I waited over an hour for my table on a Sunday morning, but it was well worth the wait! The staff was extremely friendly. The food was delicious! My wife and I both tried did we had never had before, and loved them both. Although the wait was long, it was nice because they use a digital wait-list so you can go back to your car and see exactly who many people are in line in front of you. Highly recommended!
It’s a long wait on a Saturday I waited 1 and 1/2 hrs I know that’s insane but it was well worth the wait! They have brunch on lock! I enjoyed my shrimp 🍤 and grits as well as my ricotta French toast! I sampled the home fries and pancakes my niece got and it was to die for! It melted in my mouth! Try the mimosa flight it was fun!
This place is great! It’s nestled in a shopping center off of Park and Woodlawn Rd with multiple other restaurants around. I took my husband here for a birthday breakfast, and it was a great decision! We showed up, and put our names on the waitlist on a Saturday morning (around 10 am), and only had to wait like 20ish mins to get seated at the bar. They don’t accept reservations (just fyi) and the staff was very nice! The food was FANTASTIC! I got the shrimp and grits, and he got the chicken and cornmeal pancake. And both were really really good! The inside is a wee bit cramped, but there is outside seating available. I definitely want to go back, to try something else on the menu!
Brunch in an intimate setting. Service was 10 out of 10. We were seated quickly and the waiter made several suggestions. The ube pancakes were amazing. If you are a grit fan these are creamy with just the right amount of cheese.
We picked this restaurant for our evening brunch. My first impression was the location is very small. They can sit maybe 35 people indoors. They do have some outdoor seating in the plaza. Parking is shared with several other businesses.
But our wait was short for a Tuesday afternoon. The coffee and chai latte was amazing. The presentation and taste on the food is great. I had the red velvet pancakes with the buttermilk chicken, eggs, and fruit.
I will definitely visit again.
This review is overdue. I enjoyed brunch here on Sunday, 10-30-22. It was my first time. I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated at the bar. Per the reviews, I knew to pack my patience. Though they were busy, there was only about a 15 minute wait between getting the menu and receiving my order. The time stamp on my menu picture is 9:43 am; on my food picture, 10:02 am.
I had the A Bit Of Everything combo plate with scrambled eggs, cheesy grits, pork sausage, and French toast. Everything was hot enough to enjoy right away.
I always enjoy watching bartenders & baristas preparing drink orders. The bartender was extremely busy and almost forgot my drink order. The time stamp on my drink picture is 10:41 am. I believe I ordered the spicy margarita.
We loved this place!!!! All the food we ordered was good. My husband ordered the fired chicken sandwich and stuffed French toast with Ricotta. I had the fried chicken and the UBE pancakes instead of the cornmeal ( just to try something different).
The service was amazing. We had the server Ms. Chandra. She really took care of us and made sure my food was just right.
I highly recommend this place for an early morning breakfast. It's worth every penny!!!!!
Wish there was a wider seating area to accommodate plus size or pregnant individuals, but that's the only thing I could say about this place. Just get there very early.
Cute and quaint place. Our server was sweet and did a fantastic job with communication on the wait for things. The food was very underwhelming. It was overpriced and there are simply better brunch spots in Charlotte. This is what we ordered and spent $61.
The grits were 10/10, but everything else was 3/10 for me, including the coffee I ordered (which had a bunch of cinnamon dumped on top). The “chicken” on my Benedict was more of a chicken nugget than a strip. It was bland.
Will not be back.
